The type of system depends on the number of bedrooms in your proposed residence and the amount of permeable, undisturbed soil depth prior to hitting water or hard pan.Gravity systems require a minimum of 48" of permeable, undisturbed soil depth.Standard pressure systems require a minimum of 36" of permeable, undisturbed soil depth.Pressure with pretreatment systems require a minimum of 18" of permeable undisturbed soil depth. - This includes standard laterals and subsurface drip systems.Above ground systems require a minimum of 12" of permeable undisturbed soil depth. - This includes Glendon Biofilters, Drip Mounds, Oscar Low-e-flow, and standard mound systems.

Installation costs can range from $6500.00 to $30,000.00 depending on many factors. Generally, the greater the soil depth, the lower the installation cost. On extremely challenging repair sites, the cost can be higher depending on the circumstances.
